Design21: The Social Design Network

For over six months, I have been an active member of the Social Design Network Design21. The ethos behind the network clearly is something all visual communication designers should be ever increasingly aware of. I would really love to see more designers participating to the discussions and information on the site, but encourage non-designers to join, just as passionately.

The DESIGN 21: Social Design Network is an online community exploring the connection between design and society. A joint venture between UNESCO and Felissimo, DESIGN 21 aims to bring designers and non-profit organisations together to create, share and discuss socially responsible design. Anyone around the world can become a member of the network, and it’s free. So join Julia and Kate of Prime Concern there! It really is a great chance for non-profit and socially conscious organisations, just like Prime Concern, to meet talented designers, illustrators and creatives.
